Spatial and temporal changes in Israel's nearshore environment

We combine observations from multiple remote sensing platforms to quantify spatial and temporal changes in different areas along the Israeli coasts of the Mediterranean and Red Sea. We currently focus on mapping changes in coastline morphology and coral reef coverage in the Gulf of Aqaba, over the last 7 decades, as observed in a series of historical aerial images.
